Stephen Thurman, an army veteran and long-time business man, and his wife Michelle first bought a little janitorial company in Hayden, Idaho in 1995. In the 25 years since then, due to their commitment to integrity and providing the best service possible, they have maintained contracts with local business owners held since 1997. Over time, two of their three children have also joined the business and work alongside their father in providing commercial spaces all around the Inland Northwest with high quality floor care.

After serving in the Army, and becoming a very successful manager at several different corporations, Steve and his wife Michelle decided to move back to North Idaho to raise their family. It was then, in 1995 that he acquired TQJS Inc. and, through his integrity and hard work, made it the success it is today.

Steve’s son, Jon, as our general manager, is our direct point of contact for customers. He formulates the bids, does our scheduling and hiring, ensures that the employees are properly trained, and generally keeps our crews running on a nightly basis.

Steve’s daughter Kindra handles most of the bookkeeping part of the business. She manages accounts payable, accounts receivable, taxes, helps with marketing, and any other paperwork tasks that need completed.
